BS 7858 is the British Standard for the security screening of individuals employed in a security environment. It gives employers a structured way to check that the people they place on your site are who they say they are.
Screening typically includes checks on identity, employment history and references, alongside criminal record checks through DBS. Together they help reduce the risk of placing an unsuitable person in a position of trust.
SME FM staff are screened to BS 7858 and DBS or eDBS checked before they are deployed.
